Be Intention Seeking
Be Intention Seeking
We’re often told to “seek answers” or “seek opportunities.” But what if the real shift happens when we seek intention instead?
Being intention seeking isn’t about chasing the next goal or obsessing over the perfect plan. It’s about cultivating the muscle of curiosity around why — why we act, why we choose, why we show up the way we do.
When we are intention seeking:
💛 We pause before reacting.
💡 We look for alignment with our values, not just validation from others.
🧭 We make room for purpose to steer, instead of pressure or fear.
🔑 We give ourselves permission to act with clarity, even in uncertainty.
✨ We trust ourselves and the process enough to let clarity unfold in its own time.
It’s not always about knowing the answer. It’s about noticing the “why” behind the action. Are you moving from fear or from faith? From habit or from hope? From people-pleasing or from purpose?
In leadership, intention seeking changes the conversation. Instead of driving outcomes at any cost, it invites us to ask: What impact do I want this moment to create?
Instead of filling silence with answers, it allows space for others’ voices to emerge.
Instead of pushing harder, it nudges us to align better.
But what does intention seeking look like IRL 🤔 ? Here’s an example: Pause before giving direction to a team or manager under pressure. In reconnecting with intention, this could be an opportunity to support growth, not just make a deadline. It’s an opportunity to let go and trust someone else to own the solution. The outcome: deeper trust and engagement 🙌 .
In all dimensions of life, intention seeking is what makes growth and outcomes flow in ways that are sustainable. It’s what transforms achievement into fulfillment. It’s what turns everyday choices into a practice of becoming our best selves.
The next time you feel rushed, pulled, or stuck—ask yourself: What intention am I seeking here? Dig a little deeper and ask yourself: Is this intention mine? Who or what is it serving?
Stop chasing. Start asking. Continue to move with purpose.
