Healing Begins When
Healing doesn’t come from removing the snakes.
It comes from changing your gaze —
seeing with new eyes,
looking beyond the wound,
becoming the medicine you once needed.
“Snakes” hide within us - the reactive thoughts, assumptions, and emotional patterns that bite when we’re stressed or afraid.
Real healing begins the moment you stop avoiding the wound…and look at it with awareness instead of fear.
You can’t remove every source of pain.
Work will always have its own versions of “snakes” —
pressures, miscommunications, trust breaks, old triggers, new uncertainties.
Trying to control all of them keeps you exhausted.
Changing your relationship to them sets you free.
When you face the thing you’d rather avoid —
with grounding, support, and self-honesty —
you discover the wound is not just a scar.
It’s a doorway to growth.
Workplace examples:
📩 We don’t heal communication breakdowns by avoiding hard conversations.
We heal by showing up clearer, calmer, and more direct.
🧩 We don’t heal self-doubt by overworking ourselves.
We heal by challenging the inner narrative that says we must prove our worth.
🤝 We don’t heal team tension by pretending everything is fine.
We heal by creating psychological safety, naming what’s real, and rebuilding trust intentionally.
🪞We don’t heal leadership wounds by chasing perfection.
We heal by integrating the feedback, the lessons, and the moments that humbled us.
The wound may stay.
The scar may stay.
But once your perspective shifts…
so does your power.
