What is coaching and how is it different from therapy or mentoring?

Coaching is a forward-focused, collaborative partnership that helps you gain clarity, build confidence, and take aligned action toward your goals. Unlike therapy, which often explores past experiences to support healing, coaching focuses on where you are now and where you want to go. It’s also different from mentoring, which typically involves advice from someone with experience in your field. As your coach, I won't give you all the answers, but I will ask questions, challenge limiting beliefs, and hold space for your growth so that you can uncover your own insights and path forward.

What can I expect from a coaching session?

Each coaching session is a supportive, judgment-free space where you get to pause, reflect, and reconnect with yourself. We’ll explore what’s on your mind, identify what’s blocking you, and uncover new perspectives and possibilities. I’ll ask questions, offer reflections, and sometimes challenge you, always with compassion and your goals in mind. 


How long is a coaching session?

I recommend 30 - 60 minutes. This gives us enough time to dive deep into what matters most, explore insights, and identify meaningful next steps, without feeling rushed. We can discuss what works best for you.

How long does a typical coaching engagement last?

Most clients choose to meet weekly or biweekly, depending on their goals, schedule, and the level of support they’re looking for. Consistency helps build momentum, but we’ll work together to find a rhythm that feels sustainable and effective for you. Coaching engagements typically last between 3 to 6 months, though some clients continue longer for deeper transformation or ongoing support. It’s all about what serves you best.


What kind of results can I expect?

While results vary depending on your goals and how committed you are to the process, many clients experience powerful shifts in clarity, confidence, and direction. You can expect to gain a deeper understanding of yourself, break through limiting beliefs, make aligned decisions, and take meaningful action toward what matters most to you. Coaching doesn’t give you all the answers, but it helps you access your own, with greater self-trust, purpose, and momentum. Ultimately, the results reflect the work you do.
